The Floral Collection

Available Thursday, April 13th at 12:00pm ET!

I started dreaming of these florals back in 2020. The first one I painted was a magnolia blossom, and I loved experimenting with the materials and being more free with my marks and brush strokes. I planned an entire collection of paintings, but then life happened, and here we are three years later with the collection finally being released.

I loved creating these fresh florals with gouache, colored pencil, and wax pastel on watercolor paper. Each painting depicts the flowers still growing and thriving where they are planted. The bold and sweet daffodils and magnolias balance the delicate but wild daisies and queen anne’s lace. They are a celebration of Spring and all the gifts it brings.

The framing option I selected for this collection is a natural finish, shadow-box frame with an ivory mat, and the artwork will be float-mounted to allow the drawn outlines of the painting to show. It feels organic and allows the artwork to be the center of attention. But as I said - the framing is optional. I also feel these pieces would be beautiful with a dark green mat and gold vintage frame. The collector can choose!

I imagine these pieces in well-loved homes that appreciate a bit of whimsy and color, and for those that want to cover their walls with pieces that bring them joy and will stand the test of time. Whether it is in a dining or living room, or a sweet little girl’s bedroom. Also, I think it is worth mentioning these would make a great Mother’s Day gift (wink, wink).

The Floral Collection will be available to shop on Thursday, April 13th at 12:00pm ET to my Collectors’ List. It will be available to the public on April 14th. Be sure to join the Collectors’ List to receive exclusive first access!
